Carryover is a great plan feature for FSAs. Below are some quick facts about how carryover works and how to incorporate these funds into your budget.

  • FSA Plan Members may carryover up to $640 of Plan Year 2024 FSA funds into your 2025 FSA.

  • Carryover funds will become available December 1, 2025.

  • Carryover rules apply to both Healthcare FSAs and Limited Purpose FSAs.

Details

  • If you leave the district, carryover funds are not calculated as part of COBRA premiums.
